Smoky Mountain Near Nuff – Appalachian/Great Smoky Mountain Trout Patterns

This Great Smoky Mountain fly pattern was listed in Roger Lowe’s seminal book and has been a popular and effective fly in the region since the 1970s. Not to be confused with Dave Whitlock’s “Near Nuff” series which is famous for his crawdad pattern, this is a generic mayfly or attractor fly pattern.
