Pat’s Nymph – Fly Tying Appalachian/Great Smoky Mountain Trout Patterns

From legendary fly tier Pat Proffit of Sevier County, Tennessee, Pat’s Nymph is a super easy fly to tie but has been an effective pattern in the GSM for decades. This heavily weighted nymph is meant to be fished deep in the fastest runs and chutes.
