North Carolina Yellow Sally

The second fly in my Great Smoky Mountain Series, the North Carolina Yellow Sally is an excellent stonefly imitation whenever the big yellows are on the water. This Roger Lowe variant is an easy to tie fly and can be varied a bit with the body and hackle color. If you’re going to spend any time in the trout waters of the GSMNP, this will be a good fly pattern to have with you.
