Grizzly King Wet Fly

A truly old fly pattern, the Grizzly King is reported to have been designed by Professor James Wilson (also the creator of the Professor). You can find this fly in the literature as far back as 1820. This version has grizzly hackle tips for the wing although it can be tied with barred mallard flank feathers (as in Ray Bergman’s version).
